Results Overclocked (In-depth analysis)

In the next comparison, we look at the default cooler performance as they come out of the box with their bundled fans. Coolers that come with no fans have been coupled with Noctua’s NF-P12 or fans that the manufacturers intended their coolers to be used with.

Taking a closer look at the results, we see that the Himalaya doesn’t fare well against the competition. Despite matching the Archon at lower CPU speeds, it drops behind by 5.25C with the overclocked CPU. Even the old Nordwand and Matterhorn fare better.

Efficiency with the Noctua fans is lower than the Archon by 2.75C. The Nordwand and Matterhorn once again prove to be superior.

With the Coolink fans, the Himalaya drops very close to the bottom of the table. The Archon once again proves to be the better alternative with a 2.25C temperature advantage.

Unfortunately, the Himalaya simply cannot compare to the other tower coolers and the Archon extends its gap in terms of efficiency with the NF-P14s.
