The Ryzen 5 9600X remains a toasty chip, in part due to the thickness IHS which was also an issue for the 7000-series. True enthusiasts comfortable with delidding the chip and lapping the heatspreader will be eager to start modding the chip, but this result is perfectly fine for a processor in the socket-AM5 platform.
