Unigine's benchmark is to showcase the benefits of DX 11 and the use of tessellation as opposed to normal rendering techniques. The demo has impressive visuals that give an insight into what we can expect from gaming in the future.
DX11 puts the performance crown back in Nvidia’s hand, which is down to their superior tessellation engine. Unfortunately, the HD6970 is unable to match the GTX480 and even when overclocked, it couldn’t match the latter at stock speeds.
