DIRT 2
DiRT 2, released in December 2009, is a popular arcade rallying game, which makes use of DirectX 11 features such as tessellation on the highest settings. You can rally and compete in many multi-car events across four lavishly-realised continents in single player or multi-player over the web. Despite its arcade handling and now, age, DiRT 2 still remains immensely popular with all types of gamers.

Here we can see the average frames per second for each P67 motherboard tested. The game was tested in maximum settings at 1680x1050 with 0xAA and 0xAF.

DiRT 2 is a favourite here at Vortez, and we can see that, even with the modestly powered GTX 460, it is giving us super smooth framerates across all the boards on test. No major issues with any in terms of raw performance.

Again, though, we see the P8P67 pull out over the other two boards on test by a few frames or so. Overclocking the CPU doesn't yeild a massive boost at these settings, though we know that DiRT 2 is quite well optimised for PC and puts the graphics to work more so than CPU.
