Call of Duty: Black Ops is the latest instalment in the immensely popular first person shooter Call of Duty series. In this latest game, set in the Cold War, you blast your way through detailed locations such as Russia, Cuba, Laos and Vietnam using a large variety of weapons, all realised in very high detail. Breaking all sorts of records, CoD: BO has been a massive success worldwide, and is set to remain an extremely popular online FPS.
The game was tested on the highest settings at 1680x1050 0xAA 0xAF.
Here, there is not a lot to separate the P8P67 over the Foxconn P67A-S, well within the margin of error on these tests. The ECS lags behind by around 2 frames per second here, and like with DiRT 2, overclocking doesn't give massive gains when the graphics card is being worked hard. The ASUS still comes out on top, dealing with the demands of this new game slightly better than the other boards on test. That said, none of the boards here are going to lose you a lot of frames in a firefight, with all giving good performance.
