Blacksite is the first of our game testing titles.
Its game engine provides great visuals with very playable framerates... it's also great fun to play!
Blacksite.
Clock speed seems to have the biggest bearing on framerate increases although not by a massive amount. As resolution increases and the load passes over to the GPU the 555 pulls back ground. Certainly any combination will compete well against the recent AM3 boards I've tested. Indeed, they're competition for the i5 and i7 machines I've tested too.
Dead Space follows. The survival horror game is not only scary - it's also a decent benchmark game.
Dead Space.
Performance was once again similar although I'd say clocks peed has an even bigger effect on performance with the 4GHz dual core 555 reliably beating the stock six core 1055T.
