Synthetic Benchmarks: HyperPI 0.99b
HyperPI uses the SuperPI front end which is widely used by overclockers to test both the stability and performance of a system. If a computer is able to calculate pi to the 32 millionth place after the decimal without mistake using the Gauss–Legendre algorithm , it is considered to be moderately stable in terms of RAM and CPU. The quicker it can do this, the faster the system is deemed to be.
