Packaging & First Look

GIGABYTE present the Z68-UD4 to us in a rather eye-catching box. There is plenty of information on there for those who want to take in what this board has to offer. Both on the front and back the features are highlighted extensively and you are left in no doubt what this board offers.

Opening the box up we have a small assortment of accessories within the bundle. Included, we have the following items:

• User manual
• I/O panel
• 4 x SATA 6G cables
• Quick start manual
• Warning sheet (difference between 1155 and 1156)
• SLI bridge
• Case badge

GIGABYTE redesigned their motherboards this year with the introduction of Sandy Bridge and now endorse a stealthy black paintjob on all major ports, sockets and lanes with subtle undertones of matt grey on the heatsink. The Z68 UD4 differs only very slightly from the P67 UD4. Notice the differences?
