Like previous generations, the Intel Core i7-7700K (Kabylake) is unlocked and also has flexible attributes in terms of the BCLK and ratio/multiplier. This makes the job of overclocking much easier.

Our current milestone is 4.9GHz with the Intel Core i7-7700K With M7 we were able to reach the 4.9GHz milestone and we did so by applying just 1.33v to the vcore. So, this highlights that our MSI board is able to push the limits of Kaby Lake and by overclocking, we can obviously then enjoy even better performance in a range of scenarios.
