Interior (2)

As we saw in the exterior tour, the Phantom comes bundled with a 120mm rear exhaust fan and a top mounted 200mm LED ready fan. It's really nice to see that NZXT have also thought about colour co-ordination. Most of us enthusiasts care about how the interior looks and take pride in our systems, so it makes sense to ensure everything is looking sharp from within.

With regards to the installation of 3.5" devices the Phantom comes equipped with a lower cage that can accommodate two devices whilst the larger case next-door can host 7 drives. The installation method is something we have become accustomed to - each level has a frame that the HDD will sit into. Each side has 2 screws that push into the HDD to secure it into place. The frame is then slid into the cage. These frames can also house 2.5" devices such as SSD.

Installing 5.25" optical drives also involves a tool-less mechanism. Here there are rubber clips that have a notch on them. Moving this notch to the right opens the clip and were the rubber is ridged it can be pressed in to allow the drive to slide in and then pressing the left edge of the clip will move two pins into the optical drive to secure it.
