Packaging & Accessories

The glossy exterior packaging is a slight break from the traditional Sapphire branding which has traditionally featured ATI Ruby in all her 'glory'. We quite like the new packaging however, thanks to the orange highlighting it could easily be mistaken for a ZOTAC product.
Perhaps the most interesting aspect for us was the claim that this card is 40% quieter and 15% cooler than the reference design!

The rear of the package tells us firstly about the Radeon gaming ethos but also goes on to divulge some of the Sapphire features of the graphics card. A nice touch was that, despite all the raw power and electronics contained within, is that both the interior and exterior packaging is made with 100% recyclable paper.

The interior packaging is made up of a bland, brown cardboard box. The accessories are contained inside a further box with the main GPU protected by a padded, antistatic bag itself held firm in a foam brace. This style of packaging has served Sapphire well over the years and has changed little so we see no reason to criticise it.
