During our analysis we used the cooler with and without the low-noise adapter. With the adapter the cooling fan maintained a speed of 1000RPM whilst without the adapter the speed rose to 1300RPM for stock performance.
The performance against noise level for each mode is good. Zalmans offering managed to keep up with the likes of other popular monoliths such as Dark Rock Pro 2, and NH-D14.
