Futuremark has been the testing ground for enthusiasts ever since their first release in 1999! While 2006 is long gone, it's still very popular amongst benchers.


The benchmark has become very CPU limited over the years but here we see that the GTX465 beating the GTX460 both at stock and when overclocked.

3DMark Vantage

This latest benchmark suite from Futuremark introduces DX 10 & PhysX support. Despite being on the verge of DX 11 games arriving, Vantage is still the chosen benchmark amongst enthusiasts these days.




In 3DMark Vantage on the other hand, the GTX460 gains back its crown from the GTX465. The more expensive ATI cards still end up superior with the HD5850 leading by 20% at stock speed and 16% when both are overclocked.
