8BitDo has introduced the Retro 18 Mechanical Numpad Xbox Edition, expanding its growing lineup of officially licensed Xbox-themed PC peripherals. The new numpad follows the release of the Retro 87 Xbox Edition Keyboard and Retro Xbox Edition R8 Mouse back in 2024, carrying over the same nostalgic design language inspired by the transparent green finish of the original Xbox console.
Designed as a companion to the existing 8BitDo Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard Xbox Edition – a tenkeyless (TKL) design that omits a dedicated number pad – the Retro 18 Mechanical Numpad neatly fills that gap. It allows users to retain the compact footprint of a TKL keyboard while adding numeric input when needed, all within the same cohesive Xbox-inspired aesthetic. Beyond standard input, the device also introduces a dual-purpose design, functioning as both a traditional PC numpad and a standalone calculator for added versatility.
