ARCTIC has introduced the new Freezer 36-S series CPU coolers, offering a more affordable alternative to the existing Freezer 36 while retaining strong thermal performance and broad platform compatibility. The new cooler series targets value-focused PC builders looking for efficient air cooling for modern Intel and AMD systems.

The ARCTIC Freezer 36-S uses a single-tower heatsink design paired with four 6mm direct-touch heat pipes and a single 120mm ARCTIC P12 Pro fan. ARCTIC says the streamlined configuration reduces costs without significantly compromising cooling capability. The series is available in standard and A-RGB variants, with black and white colour options available depending on the model.

Single-Tower Design with P12 Pro Fan
Unlike the dual-fan ARCTIC Freezer 36, the ARCTIC Freezer 36-S adopts a single-fan configuration using ARCTIC’s P12 Pro fan. The fan is designed to deliver stable airflow, high static pressure, and low vibration levels while supporting PWM-controlled fan speeds for quieter and more efficient operation.

The cooler uses wire-clip fan mounting for simplified installation and improved compatibility with different system layouts.

Designed for Intel and AMD Platforms
The ARCTIC Freezer 36-S series supports Intel LGA1851 and LGA1700 sockets alongside AMD AM5 and AM4 platforms out of the box. ARCTIC also includes its Intel contact frame to improve mounting stability and contact pressure.

To assist with thermal transfer, the coolers ship bundled with ARCTIC MX-7 thermal paste.
