Cooler Master have a long and storied history in the Power Supply market, which most recently has been punctuated by the releases of the Silent Pro M2 and Silent Pro Hybrid models for the medium to high end enthusiast market. Not one to rest on their laurels, Cooler Master are announcing the V-series: a new fully modular design for enthusiasts and high-end system builders needing up to 1000W and enough cabling flexibility to create as neat a presentation as possible.

The V-series relies on a single 12V rail capable of up to 83A in the 1000W variant, and is claimed to feature excellent voltage stability and ripple suppression. Efficiency is also a strong point and improves upon the Silent Pro M2, V-Series PSU are 80 PLUS Gold certified through the range including eff. of 93% at 50% load.

Reliability should be aided through the use of high-grade Japanese Capacitors throughout the design, but for peace of mind the PSUs are backed by a 5-year warranty. Keeping the components cool is a 135mm Fluid-dynamic bearing fan which should be low-noise thanks to the choice of a modest fan profile.
