FSP has added the new ND5 to its cooling lineup, a new single-tower CPU air cooler designed for gaming and enthusiast PC systems. Combining a compact footprint with a built-in digital monitoring display, the FSP ND5 aims to deliver strong thermal performance while providing users with real-time system information directly from the cooler itself.
The FSP ND5 cooler features a 159mm-tall tower heatsink equipped with five 6mm copper heat pipes and a precision-soldered copper base plate, supporting CPUs with thermal loads of up to 250W. Designed for compatibility with current Intel and AMD platforms, the cooler also adopts a slim profile to ensure unrestricted access to memory modules, including larger heatsink-equipped DIMMs.
Integrated Digital Monitoring Display
One of the FSP ND5's standout features is its integrated digital display top cover, which provides users with live monitoring information including CPU temperature, CPU utilisation, and fan speed. The display adds a functional element while contributing to the cooler's modern appearance.
Single-Tower Design with High Compatibility
The FSP ND5 CPU cooler utilises a single-tower aluminium heatsink measuring 125 x 70 x 159mm, allowing it to fit into a wide range of chassis configurations. Its offset design eliminates interference with memory modules, making it suitable for systems using high-profile or armoured RAM kits.
120mm Hydro Bearing Fan
Cooling duties are handled by a 120 x 25mm hydro dynamic bearing fan operating between 400 and 1850 RPM via PWM control. The fan is rated for airflow of up to 54.6 CFM, static pressure of 2.4 mmH2O, and noise levels of up to 28 dBA.
Platform Support and Specifications
The FSP ND5 offers broad platform compatibility, supporting Intel LGA 1954, LGA 1851, LGA 1700, and LGA 1200 sockets, alongside AMD's AM5 and AM4 platforms. The cooler is rated to handle processors with thermal loads of up to 250W and measures 125 x 95 x 159mm, with a total weight of 685g. It features a black aluminium heatsink construction designed to complement modern PC builds and is backed by a three-year manufacturer warranty.
