GIGABYTE at COMPUTEX 2026 showcased the capabilities of its flagship AORUS motherboards, with the company's overclocking team achieving a new DDR5 memory frequency world record and securing 10 Global First Place benchmark rankings. Led by veteran overclocker HiCookie, the GIGABYTE OC Team delivered record-setting results across both Intel Z890 and AMD X870 platforms during the event.

The team, consisting of HiCookie, Sergmann, Saltycroissant, Madness777, and Exaberries, established a new DDR5 memory frequency world record of DDR5-13556 MT/s. The achievement was made using the Z890 AORUS TACHYON DUO X ICE motherboard, paired with a Corsair VENGEANCE DDR5 memory kit and an Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus processor. The result surpasses the previous DDR5 frequency record and marks another milestone for memory overclocking.
