Intel have spoken to partners and revealed that a Q2 2012 launch for Ivy Bridge will be happening and not Q1, this would mean that Intel's Tick Tock strategy has slowed down.
This to me would suggest that Intel are redoubling their efforts into the mobile space and their Atom SoC's. As they have already stated, they are speeding up Atom production thus slow downs elsewhere would be predictable and the already super fast Sandy Bridge CPUs and the coming 2011 platform may fare well despite the later release of the 22nm CPUs.
