Overclocking
From experience with this particular chip, we know that we can achieve a bench stable 4.7GHz with good cooling, but with the modest Noctua NH-U12S, and a mere 650W PSU, driving such a power hungry CPU would be a little crazy, so to make it a little more interesting we used the motherboards OC Tuner as supplied by ASUS to see what it will reach. Hey presto, after a restart we get an easy 4.35GHz stable overclock which is a nice bump, but nothing extreme.
