ZOTAC RTX 3060 Ti Twin Edge OC Review

👤by David Mitchelson Comments 📅04-12-20

Understandably the new RTX 3060 Ti will rest just below the RTX 3070 in terms of performance and will offer up similar performance to that of the RTX 2080/SUPER from last generation and yet the pricing is significantly different – in the consumers favour.

Although this graphics card is capable of 4K, the sweetspot is found within 1440p and even 1080p. 1080p becomes a better option should you desire all of the eye candy, including Ray Tracing and a higher refresh rate display. RTX 3060 Ti has no problems handling the latest games and will provide smooth gameplay in even the most demanding of triple-A titles.

If we turn to ZOTAC and their efforts with this particular model of the RTX 3060 Ti, we’re left satisfied that the Twin Edge OC is a worthwhile option. The factory overclock may not be significant over the stock/reference frequency but it still taps into better overall performance and the custom cooler emits little noise under load, making it a good option for sound sensitive gamers.

At a cost of £469 GBP | $459 USD | $800 AUD, this model is quite a bit more than the MSRP for the RTX 3060 Ti, but it does come with a lengthy 5 years warranty which other partners don’t offer.

ZOTAC’s RTX 3060 Ti Twin Edge OC may be small, but it makes a big statement. If you’re looking for a new GPU to slot into your system and game at 1080p/1440p with all the eye candy switched on, you should consider this!

+ Pleasant to the eye
+ Reasonably compact
+ Performs very well
+ Low-noise cooler
+ Zero decibel technology
+ 5 years warranty

- Power hungry
- Small factory overclock
